The Barrasford Arms has double, twin and single en-suite rooms and family accommodation. Situated overlooking the private Haughton Castle by the North Tyne River there is no where better. Please note all our rooms are situated on the first floor of the pub. Dodds, Fenwick, Robson, Ridley are within our south-west corner of the building, Percy and Charlton are based in our south-east corner and standing alone is our Milburn room in the north-east corner of the building.

All our rooms have Freeview TV, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers, free wifi, and iron & ironing boards available on request.

Dodds – This is one of our small double rooms, situated looking out over the gardens and the Tyne Valley. Offering a comfortable double bed, with the shower situated in the corner of the room. This room can cater for dogs to stay – please note this on your booking. There is an extra £10 cleaning fee for this.

Fenwick – This is one of our large double rooms, situated overlooking the front garden towards the Tyne Valley and towards the entrance to the village. This room has a king size bed and a sofa-bed if you wish it to be used as a family room. 

Robson – This is our smaller twin room. Offering two single beds, overlooking the main entrance to the village. 

Ridley – Our standard twin room offers two single beds, overlooking the main entrance to the village. This room can cater for dogs to stay – please note this on your booking. There is an extra £10 cleaning fee for this.

Percy – This large double room is situated overlooking Haughton Castle towards the North Tyne river and our front gardens. Comprising of a double bed, sofa, and shower over the bath. This room can cater for dogs to stay – please note this on your booking. There is an extra £10 cleaning fee for this.

Charlton – This is one of our small double rooms, overlooking the countryside and the east end of the village. This room does have a shower open in the corner of the room. This room can cater for dogs to stay – please note this on your booking. There is an extra £10 cleaning fee for this.

Milburn – This is one of our large double rooms located at the back of the building, offering a more private, quieter stay. Offering a double bed and sofa. This room can cater for dogs to stay – please note this on your booking. There is an extra £10 cleaning fee for this.

Please note our rooms are on a room only basis with breakfast added on for £12 per person. Breakfast includes a mixture of tea/ coffee, juice, cereal, full Northumbrian breakfast or other hot dishes such as an omelette or bacon/ sausage sandwiches. 

The Barrasford Arms in Northumberland is the ideal base camp for outdoor activity holidays all the year round, or warm up in the winter by our cosy bar with a good ale or crisp glass of wine.
