ABOUT OUR FOOD
The food at the Barrasford Arms is traditional pub food, with every dish home made and elevated to the highest standards. Michael has been a chef since he left school at 16. Starting out in his local pub in Whitfield, Northumberland he has since worked in various top restaurants across the UK to hone his skills. From working in small pubs, fine dining restaurants, to running the kitchen in 5* hotels, Michael has acquired all round experience which he brings to his menu at the Barrasford.
Our menu changes seasonally using local home grown ingredients; from the polytunnel in the back garden to using local suppliers across the North East.
We run our full pub lunch menu and a sandwich menu from 12-2pm on a Tuesday through to Saturday, and our Sunday lunch from 12-4pm every Sunday. Our evening menu is served from 5.30pm to 8.30pm every Tuesday to Saturday.
